INNWIND.EU PDD demonstrator running on the test rig
A scaled down demonstrator of the Pseudo (Magnetic) Direct Drive (PDD) has been constructed at Magnomatics in Sheffield, UK and satisfactorily tested on a test rig. “ The tests can be scaled up to different torque-speed levels as required to quantify the performance of the PDD in the 10MW to 20MW power range.
